The news this week is that I got a surgery date, May 6 in Atlanta (that’s a Friday)—assuming all gets approved by the insurers. The surgery is supposed to start at noon and go at least four hours, but apparently they don’t plan to keep me overnight. Waiting

After a long weekend, I decided on the oncoblastic reduction, that is, assuming insurance will pay for it. This is where they do a lumpectomy and then try to get the other boob to match.
